Itinerary at Glance:-
Day 01:- Delhi Arrival
On arrival at Delhi International Airport which is the starting point for your Indian Golden Triangle with Sri Lanka , Meet and greet our representative outside exit gate#5 and Then proceed to Delhi city which is the national capital of India and famous for its history starting from Rajput dynasty to Mughal era to colonial past. Delhi is preserving its monuments from Ashoka the great to present time. On arrival check-in to your pre-booked hotel and rest of time is free to relax after a long flight journey. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02:- Delhi Local (Many monuments in Delhi are closed on Monday)
Today post your delicious buffet breakfast at hotel, go for a full day Delhi city tour by ghum india ghum, first go for Old Delhi city tour- by visiting Birla temple, the Raj Ghat- place is dedicated memory of Mahatma Gandhi, driving past Red fort, Then may visit Jama Masjid- India Largest Mosque are important places to visit, you may also visit Chandni Chowk, spice market etc. For a better understanding of the Old Delhi tour you may go for a Rickshaw ride tour and ride through the bazaars and streets of Old Delhi (Optional cost). Post lunch at some local restaurant , proceed for a city tour of New Delhi. Starts with a tour of The Qutub Minar which is a UNESCO site in Delhi and Iron pillar inside its complex. Then visit Lotus temple, which is quite similar to Sydney Opera house. It is a worship place for Bahai in Delhi. Also see Iconic India gate which is dedicated to brave Indian soldiers who lost lives during WWI and WWII, Don't forget to see huge government buildings in Delhi Like -Rashtrapati bhawan, New and Old Parliament building, Raj path. Post Delhi local tours with Ghum India Ghum drive back to the hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 03:- Delhi to Jaipur via Patrika Gate and Toran Gate
After a yummy breakfast at the hotel, Start your 3rd day of Golden Triangle tour with Sri Lanka and By driving to Jaipur city popularly known as the pink city India. This is the only city in the world designed in such a way it symbolises the nine divisions of the universe through the nine rectangular sectors subdividing it as per Vedic architecture. Post lunch at some local restaurant. Then on the way visit Patrika gate - which is a colourful gate at Jawahar circle and it is a viral monument from Jaipur on social Media, Then visit Toran Gate which is walking distance from Patrika gate. This is the newly built gate on Jawahar circle. Later continuing your journey to Jaipur, The historic walled city of Jaipur in Rajasthan was established on the plain unlike other cities of this region which are situated on hilly terrains, It was founded in 1727 AD (18th Cent.) under the rule of Sawai Jai Singh II. Jaipur is known for its exemplary architectural legacy which is based on ancient Hindu, Mughal and western cultures. Pink city Jaipur made its official entry into the UNESCO World Heritage Site list recently in 2019. On arrival in Jaipur and after check-in formalities, the rest of the evening is free for relaxation. Night stay in Jaipur.
Day 04:- Jaipur local
This morning after tempting breakfast at hotel, Start 4th day of your Delhi- Agra- Jaipur with with Srilanka package with city tour of Jaipur, start with first visiting Amber Fort (one need to reach here by 8:30-9:00 am, to avoid rush and heat) fort is situated on one end of city, Amber fort is huge is size and it has unique history, present day Amber fort was built by Raja Man Singh main attractions within Amber fort are Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-e-aam, temples and underground tunnels. Next stop is the Jal Mahal tour which is a palace situated in the middle of popular Man Sagar Lake. Post lunch at some local restaurant drive past the only Hawa Mahal-a Palace of winds. Then you will visit the city palace and museum inside it, In 1727 King of Jaipur Maharaja Swai Jai Singh 2 moved from Amber to City Palace, walking to adjacent Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory. Post completion of places to visit in Jaipur or places to see in Jaipur or things to do in Jaipur or tour of important tourist attractions in Jaipur, Return back to hotel for night stay in Jaipur.
Day 05:- Jaipur to Agra local
Today post breakfast, Check-out from the hotel and proceed to Agra which is the most important destination on India Golden Triangle family tours because Agra is home to the Taj Mahal which is regarded as a world beautiful monument. On arrival, Check-in to the hotel and later post lunch at the hotel or some local restaurant. Visit Agra Fort which is one of two UNESCO world heritage sites in Agra, this huge fort was the main residence and meeting place for Mughals before shifting capital to Delhi. Then during Sunset Visit Mehtab Bagh which is situated just opposite the Taj Mahal and bank of River Yamuna and the best place to explore the beauty of Taj Mahal during sunset from here. Post tour, have your dinner and return back to the hotel for overnight stay in Agra.
Day 06:- Sunrise Taj Mahal and Agra to Delhi drop| Delhi to Aurangabad (by Flight own Expense)
Today you will go to see the beauty of Taj Mahal with Sunrise, our guide will be at the hotel as per sunrise visit. Taj Mahal which is the most visited Mughal Monument in India and an UNESCO world heritage site. Taj Mahal built by white Marble from Makrana, Rajasthan and is the symbol of love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan which was commissioned in 1632 to house the remains of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Post tour, return back to the hotel and after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and proceed to Delhi, have your lunch on the way, On arrival in Delhi drop at Delhi international airport to board flight to Aurangabad. Today, on arrival at Aurangabad International Airport, Meet and greet by our representative at the airport waiting area. Later transferred to Aurangabad hotel. Stay overnight in Aurangabad.
Day 07:-Aurangabad - Ajanta Cave Tour -Aurangabad (Closed on Mondays) (105 kms/3 hrs Each way)
Today after relaxing Breakfast, go for Exciting day trips from Aurangabad, drive to Ajanta Caves, famous for Buddhist religious art, including paintings and rock-cut sculptures. These 2nd-century caves are UNESCO World Heritage sites. Ajanta has 30 rock-cut Buddhist caves known for their ancient Indian art and architecture. Ajanta Paintings are quite like European fresco technique. On arrival, witness these rock cut structures and paintings in more detail with our local tour guides. Post Ajanta caves places to visit tours, Return to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Aurangabad.
Day 08:- Aurangabad to Ellora Cave to Aurangabad (30 km/50 mins) (Closed on Tuesdays)
After breakfast at the hotel, go on a full-day trip to Ellora Caves- is a UNESCO World Heritage site with rock-cut architecture and sculptures from Buddhism, Brahmanism, and Jainism. Visit the famous Cave 16, known as the Kailasa temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and carved out of a single rock. Ellora caves are more huge compared to Ajanta caves and most of the monuments are wheelchair accessible.On arrival, witness these rock cut structures from different religions in more detail with our local tour guides. Post Ellora caves places to visit tours, Return to your hotel in Aurangabad and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay in Aurangabad.
Day 09:- Aurangabad Drop
Post yummy breakfast at the hotel, Check-out from the hotel in Aurangabad and later drop to Aurangabad airport /Railway station as per your flight/train timing, return your sweet home with a lot of lifelong memories of Aurangabad which is perfect example of rich history of Indian architecture.
