Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is one of its kind and well preserved bird Sanctuary in India and famous for migratory birds in India which come every year at Bharatpur from different parts of the world. Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is also known by the name Keoladeo National Park. It was a royal family hunting ground and acted as game reserve for Birtishers and Maharaja of Bharatpur and his royal friends. Keoladeo National Park is an important UNESCO World Heritage Site in Rajasthan. Keoladeo National Park is the biggest bird sanctuary in India and also regarded as the biggest in Asia.

07:00 am -10:00am :- Keoladeo National Park
On arrival, meet and greet your naturalist come guide who will assist you in getting entrance tickets, here you can opt for a bird watching trip by cycle rickshaw or by bicycle, our personal favourite is bicycle. Don't forget to carry your binoculars or you may get it on rent here too. This is a UNESCO world heritage bird sanctuary in India and offers the biggest wetland in India which is a very important thing for any bird sanctuary. Your naturalist will guide you in bird watching of several types of birds which includes Indian as well as Migratory ones. endangered Siberian Crane are well preserved here birds which you can see here are, Chital, Nilgai, Boar Painted Storks, Sambar Egrets, Cormorants,, Fishing Eagles, White Harriers, , Siberian Crane and Pied Kingfisher. Apart from Birds you will see deer, Indian pythons and many more animals

Often asked, the best time to visit Keoladeo National Park or Bharatpur National Park is from 15th Oct to 15th March of every year, this time frame is ideal for birds to visit Bharatpur national park for resting and breeding. This is the best time for bird watching in Bharatpur national park for spotting resident and migratory birds from Europe and Siberia. Summertime is not ideal for visiting bird sanctuary because tempe rise upto 38-44 °C. Monsoon time is also not suitable because this park contains the longest wetland in India and it becomes very humid.
